We currently live in Southwest Missouri, but both of us have lived in a lot of other places too. I've lived in 6 widely different areas in the U.S, but Jeff has me overshadowed with far more USA addresses and multiple other countries. We own 40 acres, which we call a "farm" although probably no farmer would want it, except for raising trees and rocks! It's enough for us to have a big garden, animals and lots of room to roam around. Both of us are enjoying it here after our last home in South Florida. We loved the ocean, but got tired of the flatness, the concrete, and the crowds. Here, there are real trees and real hills.

Not wanting to get overwhelmed, we are trying to keep it down to one new animal or huge project per year. That's in addition to all the ongoing projects of course. So year 1, 2007, was the garden. This year, we've added chickens. Keep an eye on our galleries to see the progress on each new project.

And what do we do (other than go to work!), when we're not at the farm? Well, not much, these days. But that's OK, we're enjoying it here. One of our main pursuits in the past was scuba diving. Both of us were full-time dive instructors, and Jeff was also a licensed boat captain. There's not much salt water in Missouri, but you can take a look at our scuba gallery page for some of our underwater images. Once we get things on an even keel here, there may be some more diving in our future. Brr, maybe even some chilly fresh water diving here in the Midwest!
